Congenital Posterior Urethral Polyp

A congenital posterior urethral polyp is a rare fibroepithelial pedunculated tumor of the posterior male urethra, which may cause dysuria, hematuria, and urinary retention (Liu et al., 2013). The urethral polyp presents in VCUG as a filling defect in the prostatic urethra. Cystoscopy is performed to confirm the diagnosis and an endoscopic resection is done for treatment.
